The Stephen Chase Mickel Memorial Missions Scholarship Fund exists to provide financial assistance to young people, ages 16-30 years of age, in first-time international mission trips.

After receiving completed applications, the SCM Board will pray over the application and discuss it based on the following criteria:

The Call

We will seek to understand the call that God has placed on the individual to seek out God’s plan in the world.

The Mission

Mission funding is provided to individuals who: 1) are between the ages of 16 and 30; and 2) are pursuing their first international missions trip through a local church or a Christian missions organization.

Availability of Funds

As we only have limited funds available throughout the year, we will evaluate to see what funds are available to support the request.

60 days before you leave.

Who decides who gets a scholarship?
The board members of the SCM fund.

If I apply am I guaranteed a scholarship?
No, but we will take every application into consideration.

When will I hear back about my application?
Within 30 days of applying by email.

How will funds be distributed?
We will mail a check directly to your sending church or organization.
